Aerospace & Defense CIG’s mission is to bring together all the value chain players, evolve common roadmap, present policy inputs to the government, and catalyze partnerships between academia/industry /startups. The CIG also focuses on the development of internal security systems and solutions


The vision of IESA Automotive CIG is to be the one-stop-solution for automotive electronics and semiconductor stakeholder in India. The Automotive Core Industry Workgroup intends to work towards the following:

  • Drive Government Regulations/ Norms
  • Enable Automotive Electronics Manufacturing Cluster
  • Enable Innovation and Incubation Centres around IoT of Cars
  • Drive skill development & enhance participation of engineers in this domain

2014 – Formation of IoTForum a joint initiative by TiE and IESA – Mini events/meetups, Investor/Customer connects, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Mentorships

2015 – IoT Next event, focus on Smart City, IoT in Agriculture,  IoTNext awards

2016 – AgriTech (in liaison with Nasscom IoT), online community, Low Power Wide Area Network LPWAN , IoT Stack, Startup Directory

NETRA stands for National ESDM Technology Research Academy. The vision of NETRA is to Make India the ESDM Product Innovation Hub by Building Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Engineering Campuses through Industry Partnership. The mission is planned to be achieved by identifying Engineering Campuses with:

Semiconductor Fabless Accelerator Lab (SFAL) calls for existing Indian fabless product companies and early stage fabless product startups with innovative products and IP ideas targeting the applications in areas of connectivity, IoT applications, energy metering, E-vehicles, Artificial Intelligence or any other deep tech emerging technologies. Successful applicants will benefit from SFAL incubation or acceleration program offering up to 24 months’ access to:

  • EDA tools
  • Subsidized test chips
  • Test facilities access

ITI Limited, Bangalore is a giant telecom Equipment manufacturer, and was the first PSU unit established by GOI in 1949.

As a part of its diversification, under the various programmes of Government of India, ITI is establishing a Start-up Hub, “Vinyas” under the Government of India Flagship programme of Start-up India

In phase-I, a hundred-seater facility is being established at ITI Limited, Dooravaninagar, Bangalore-560 016. The location is nearer to the various IT industries in and around Whitefield and in Old Madras road.
