This award is designed to identify the Intellectual Property (IP) created in India and the companies behind them. It focuses on highlighting the innovation, technical and marketing excellence, customer acceptance/market success– a true leadership offering.
|For Technovation 2011, twelve awards are to be given, three(S, IE, ME) in each of the three categories: Semiconductor, OEM–Consumer, OEM-Enterprise & Embedded system design house. Terms are defined in the Definitions section.|
|Any company with product/technology meeting the above requirements can apply. IESA membership is not required.|
|Innovation( significant portion) should have happened in India.|
|Companies applying should have a clear “ownership” of the IP. For example, a company that has developed the IP for some other company as an engineering services provider cannot apply unless it is the “owner” of the IP. The other company that “owns” can of course apply. IESA cannot be held responsible for sorting out the ownership issues.|
|The winner will be a compelling IP, semiconductor or electronics product selected based on
The common theme running through all of this is an innovative idea or technology that’s been applied to deliver real business benefit and the innovation was carried out in India.

IESA strongly believes ecosystem is important for holistic growth. This award is designed to recognize the companies which have taken the business risk to build this infrastructure in India.
